Camp Reflection.
Horse Riding:Horse Riding was probably my favorite activity out of all the eight because it was my first experience riding a horse. I rid charlie the white golden one. I was more interested in riding one of the big one's.My horse was really cheeky he passed most of the others horse's and he was always out of line. The scariest part was probably going up hill and down hill it really felt like I was going to fall off the horse. I really liked my first experience on a horse it was really exciting.
Raft building:Raft building was alright I didn't really do much it was quite boring for my first time.basically all the girls didn't want to hop in i did even tho i didn't have togs on.we put everyone on at one at a time including me. we all thought It would break It did in the end turns out that we got all our group on and we had the most people on the raft. after a few minutes most of us all fell of except me. after that all of us jumped in the water except for a couple of girls even tho they had their togs.
Kayaking:Kayaking was probably one of my favorite activity other than Horse riding. You had a choice to ride a double kayak or a single kayak I went for a double kayak because i wasn't really confident to do a single one. I did the double kayak with Aylah everyone else did a single kayak. it got hit in the head a couple of times by Aylah's paddle.When i pulled the paddle out of the water my pants got all wet so when I got out my pants were soaked. We were able to swap to a single kayak.
Scavenger Hunt:Scavenger hunt was pretty fun. We split into groups to find an object.I was in a group with my dad, Chris and my best friend Aylah we found a smooth rock and a rough rock. one of out things was really hard to find like the turkey feather we just cheated to found a chicken feather and we took it as out turkey feather.We got timed my Mrs Hobbs.The hardest part was probably finding Mrs Hobbs so she could stop the timer. I'm not sure what time we found all of them.
Rock Climbing:Rock climbing was really fun.We had to make our way to the top of the wall and touch a bell.One of the funniest thing was I couldn't touch the bell. We got a second turn so I wanted to go for it this time with a broom so I could take it out of my harness to hit the bell I was at the top but then I STILL couldn't touch it i couldn't get the broom out of my harness I went for another turn this time instead of having the broom in my harness i was holding it a got a free ride up with out climbing and I finally touched the bell at the end.
Slug Gun Shooting:Slug gun shooting was really fun we got three turn each our targets were to shoot cans and hit 5 ducks. I hit the tin a couple of times.Sometimes I forgot how many turns I had so I walked off but I only had 2 turns. The gun was actually heavier then I thought it would. There was two green dots and one red dots,we had to line the green dots up with the red dot,to aim
,we had quite a lot of turns then I excepted we would
Orienteering;Orienteering was actually quite cool, we had to guide out partner to where our compass was pointing,my partner was aylah she's my partner in every activity well not all but most of the activity's
Mud Run:Mud run was really fun,we started off in a little stream with a bit of mud.There was a lot of rocks and logs in the river so hit my feet on logs on rocks of couple of the times,we came to a part where we had to jump off a bridge and into the water none of us wanted to to jump in the water,in the end amy jumped in and then I did it wasn't that that deep then I excepted it to be, at the end we got to go into the hot pools.

MY REFLECTION TERM 1 WEEK 10
MY REFLECTION 🍕
Writing: In writing this week we have been focus on smiles and metaphors to use in our writing to make more juicy sentences.We haven't done much yet but my favorite is probably smiles instead of metaphors doing and sharing our smiles and metaphors help's me a lot on my learning.
Maths: In maths we have been focusing on times tables and family facts.My time tables i'm kinda rusty i think i could focus a bit more at home on my time tables i could work on my 4 and 7. With my family of facts at the start i didn't' get them but i started to get them and get them right i love family of facts they are so fun.
Reading: In reading i am pretty good but i could work on it at home before it's bed. I like how we share between help's me get out of my comfort zone and because i'm a year 5 and i have a new classroom its really exiting but my reading could use a bit of work.
Spelling: In spelling i'm on list I and my goal is K which is two list apart. In spelling if I miss a word I can get muck up really fast and i could miss some words.At home i could help by getting my mum to test me on my list words and practice on my list ahead of me.

INQUIRY🍕
ROOM 10: In room ten we have been teaching the Rata kids on integrity games.We had three people or more to come up with a game for Rata team first we type the rules and the game name and other things then we printed and we had the rules our game was call hula hoops and balls before we could actually start and do the game we had to ask Mrs Austin to come up with a game that they would like so we could teach it to them it was really cool and fun we rock
ROOM 9: In room nine we have been focusing on the Treaty of Waitangi and learn the history of the treaty and how it work.before we started we went on a trip to go to the gift shop to collect some information to go in our presentation we had three people per group and shared our information to the group and put it do onto our computer
ROOM 8: In room eight we have been focusing on music like... keyboard and guitar and other things. We listen to music to see if it was old school or country or jazz rock ballet and we were also focusing pitch tempo dynamics
